Maybe you came to it, maybe you just heard about it, but the most everyone agrees that the CETCI Pedagogy Speed-Date was a great success! Engaging presenters, important topics, and tasty food (the hummus was a crowd pleaser!) combined to make an event that people are still talking about. To keep that momentum rolling, we have designed the CETCI After-Hours Pedagogy Series–a series of evening events focused on the topics speed-daters told us they wanted to learn more about.
The first topic, Universal Design for Learning, will be presented at the Tran Library on the Forest Grove campus on November 7 from 5-6 pm and again on November 14 from 5-6 pm on the Hillsboro Campus. College of Education professor, Bryan Cichy-Parker, will deliver an interactive and engaging presentation about applying the principles of UDL to make learning accessible to all students, including those with barriers to learning. In addition to useful information and the good company of faculty from across the university, you will get free wine, cheese, and appetizers! Register now to reserve your seat!
